Bulkley Valley Hospice Society

The Bulkley Valley Hospice Society (BVHS), while it does not provide lodging, is a group of caring professional and non-professional people with the genuine desire to care for the needs of people who are terminally ill and their families. The volunteers in the BVHS sit with dying people, providing emotional and physical support, companionship and respite for the family. Hospice activities can be undertaken in the home, hospital or in the intermediate/long-term care facility. Services also include Grief Support, Equipment loans and a Ceremony of Remembering at Christmas time.
